The UIPR has an Auxiliary Vice-Presidency for International Relations located under the direction of the Vice-Presidency for Academic and Student Affairs. Its objective and commitment is to instill the importance of international education so that students (undergraduates and graduates) can acquire a global vision, learn about other cultures and languages and develop the necessary skills to perform in academic, professional and personal environments of an intercultural nature.

The UIPR has approximately 100 consortia around the world from Asia, Europe, North America and South America for exchanges and internships. (Annex – list from consortiums in force)
During the academic year they will be able to participate in exchanges or internships during the fall, spring and summer sessions. In addition, scholarships are available to help cover some of the expenses during their stay, such as: tuition, room and board, transportation, materials, medical insurance, among others.
