Law School Campus

Inter-American University School of Law aspires to serve Puerto Rico through higher education.

Within this context, the faculty and administration seek to provide graduates not only with technical-legal competence, but also with a broad knowledge of the history and development of Puerto Rican law and legal institutions, particularly those related to contemporary Puerto Rican society. This is necessary so that new lawyers can understand the relationship of the legal profession with the society they serve and participate in the improvement of the law.

For this reason, Inter-American University School of Law strives to:

  1. To train qualified professionals to perform competently in the practice of law.
  2. To promote the development and strengthening of legal education in Puerto Rico.
  3. To promote research, development and clarification of the law in Puerto Rico.
  4. Promote and facilitate continuing legal education for graduates and members of the legal profession.
