A Message from the President

Welcome to Inter American University.

For almost a century Inter American University has been renowned for its capacity to adapt to the trends of modern technology; for its educational commitment; for its management and for its investigation services. The University has always remained true to its sense of community and social responsibility for which it was founded.

Inter American University has remained in the forefront with technological advances: enrollment by phone, videoconferences, distance learning, online courses, telecommunications networks in all its campuses, and the incorporation of new technology in the teaching-learning process. Moreover, its libraries have been transformed into centers for the access of information with modern CD-ROM equipment and online catalogs.

The creation of this website is just a step in our goal to transform the technology available into an educational tool for students and collaborators. This is the first university on the Island whose website includes both academic and administrative matters pertaining to all its campuses.
