Honors Program
Scholarship
The Honors Program offers academically
talented undergraduates the opportunity to
develop their highest potential. It aspires
to attract students seeking a challenging
academic program that is centered on an
interdisciplinary approach and the
development of critical thinking skills.
Students admitted to the Honors Program
receive a scholarship according to their
academic qualifications. Scholarships
awarded to incoming freshmen, mainly take
into consideration the admission Index.
Scholarships fall
under three categories
• Basic Scholarship
Payment of one Honors course per semester.
• Superior Scholarship
Payment of one Honors course and half
tuition for the rest of the courses per
semester, excluding fees
• Extraordinary Scholarship
Payment of full tuition (12–18 credits) per
semester, excluding fees.
Admission to the Honors Program is
selective. An admission committee in each
academic unit will evaluate candidates.
Automatic Admission
Incoming freshmen with a 3.50 point average
or higher and an admission index of 1,250 or
above, will automatically be admitted.
